In addition to superior wear life, TUFF TEMP also possesses a very low thermal conductivity, so it will not leave unacceptable "shadow spots" like the older style carbon and/or graphite composites are prone to do. The more forgiving TUFF TEMP fabrics also eliminate the scratches, dents and streaking commonly found with the more rigid carbon and graphite composite blocks.

Available in either 100% Kevlar, PBO, Polyester, Nomex or a blend of Kevlar and Carbon in widths up to 78 inches (2000 mm). Standard thickness include: 6, 8, 10, 12 & 15 mm.
